After a storming first show in November last year we’re bringing back Canned Laughter: Karaoke Roulette to Kings Cross. The chaotic karaoke comedy hybrid night where a roulette wheel decides what YOU sing. (If you want to, that is. Singing encouraged, but not required.)
Canned Laughter Karaoke Roulette!
Friday 31 January
We are teaming up again with the award-winning Berk’s Nest to bring you this exciting new comedy-meets-karaoke night that will raise food and funds for the Euston Foodbank.
Hosted by Olga Koch and Max Olesker the night will see celebrity guests and audience members alike take to the stage to sing a song chosen by our wheel of fortune.
Special guests include Guilty Feminist Deborah Frances-White, Edinburgh Award 2019 Nominee Helen Bauer and writer Nathan Foad!
Olga and Max will spin the wheel for our singers to reveal which song they will will have to perform. You will then have the choice to ‘Sing or Spin’. Don’t like the song? Not familiar enough? Max and Olga will spin the wheel again to choose another song. Be careful though, if you spin again you must sing the song, no questions asked!
Feeling a bit nervous? Need a bit of help on a harmony? You can nominate Olga or Max to join you as your backing singer (and dancer too, probably)
It'll be a whole lotta fun - with prizes to be won! Again, singing isn’t required - but is heavily encouraged! We'll be in the new location of 2Northdown and we are fundraising for Euston Foodbank.
Mark your calendars, get rehearsing and grab your tins, cans and other food-bank-friendly items because tickets are on sale NOW for £10+BF. A limited number of Early Bird tickets are available for £7.50.
Please note entry on the night requires a minimum of five food donations to The Euston Food Bank. We’ll be updating our social media nearer the time to tell you what the food bank are in need of!
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
