Chloe Green is a queer comedian who makes jokes about life as a Labour Party staffer and the patriarchy. Ella Woods is just a comedian. She has previously written shows about women’s sport and wanting a stag do, and is now thinking about becoming a nudist. They are both women who will try to make you laugh.
Chloe and Ella have a mutual friend in common – Paul Venn, who is thrilled they are naming a show after him. They also met after Ella had done one of the worst gigs of her life, and Chloe was on the hunt for some chips, so knew they’d be a perfect fit.
Come and see them perform their very best new things and one joke about Paul Venn. Again, he is really pleased they are doing this.
Chloe Green is co-founder of queer comedy collective The LOL Word and she’s a member of the Soho Theatre Young Company. Chloe was named one of the top lesbian and bi comedians to watch out for by Pink News in 2018 and she was a Semi-Finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award 2018. As seen on LabBible, seen at Latitude, heard on BBC Radio 4Extra.
Ella Woods has been heard on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and 4Extra, and has performed in sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, and Soho Theatre. Her 2018 show, ‘Wing Defence’, was recommended by British Comedy Guide as one of their top picks of the Edinburgh Fringe, and she has been twice nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards.
