The FOC IT UP Comedy Club, founded by American comic Kemah Bob, celebrates the perspectives of comedians of colour that identify as women, trans or non-binary with a 100% no-white-dudes-onstage guarantee!

ATHENA KUGBLENU
Athena is a BBC New Comedy Awards finalist and 2017 nominee for the 99 Club Female Comedians’ Bursary. She writes for BBC Radio 4, regularly appears on BBC radio and in 2017 represented the UK at the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival.

She has taken two acclaimed hours to the Edinburgh Fringe, KMT (2017) and Follow the Leader (2018).

Look out for her appearances on panel show ‘Global Pillage‘ and hosting The Guilty Feminist Podcast, hosted by Deborah Frances-White.

SIKISA
BBC New Comedy Award Finalist 2017

Part of the Soho Theatre Young Company

From South London, Barbadian citizen Sikisa delights crowds with her fearless and vivacious personality and on-stage presence.

She won the public's vote in the 2017 BBC New Comedy Award competition, for which she was a finalist. Since then she has filmed for BBC Three, Comedy Central and is developing a number of projects for TV and radio. She will guest on James Acaster's new podcast series on Radio 1.

Outside of TV and radio, Sikisa is quickly becoming a hot favourite on the UK comedy circuit, regularly performing and hosting at nights such as Angel Comedy Club, Top Secret Comedy Club and The Boat Show.

STELLA AJAYI
A comedy writer, Playwright and stand-up comedian based in London, who loves writing for stage, screen and podcasts.
Her Sitcom script, 'Yellow Dress' was shortlisted for the BBC Writers Room: Comedy 2019. She is also a script reader for The Upsetters and is on the Inspire Playwright program at Hampstead Theatre.
