John Lynn: Addiction Diction
John Lynn is not a drug fiend. He doesn’t have a (serious) gambling problem. He’s not even that fond of coffee. However, like all of us, John has many addictions in his life. Addiction is defined as a chronic, relapsing brain disease, considered so because drugs alter the brain. This is also true of music, dancing, a walk in the park, sex, sobriety, religion, meditation, booze, exercise, smoking, playing the victim, gossiping, social media, Netflix, making money, losing money. Perhaps happiness is becoming friends with your addictions? We all have vices, but John likes his.
