Wish you knew more about wine? Worried you’ll go to a tasting and look like a fool? Then come and taste with some actual fools.

Comedians wine tasting is a comedy panel show, with the added benefit you may actually learn something about your favourite vino… and then promptly forget it, because of well, the wine.

Over 3 rounds and 3 wines, comedians compete in a race to the bottom of the glass – demonstrating quite how little they know about sophisticated grape juice.

Phil Wang

one of the UK’s most exciting stand-up comedians and has appeared on shows including hosting Live at the Apollo (BBC2), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), QI (BBC2), Would I Lie to You? (BBC1), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4).

His latest critically-acclaimed live show, Philly Philly Wang Wang, broke records at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe when Phil sold out his entire run in the Pleasance Cabaret Bar and four extra shows before the festival even began.

Thanyia Moore

One of the hardest working comedians on the circuit. In 2017 she joined the likes of Katherine Ryan, Andi Osho, Sarah Millican, Miss London Hughes, and Desiree Birch when she was crowned Funny Women Champion.

As seen in the Bafta winning Jamie Johnson (CBBC), Pure (C4) and BBC Quickies.

Funny Women – Winner

Joe Hobbs

At 6 feet 9 inches, Joe Hobbs is the tallest comedian in the world (probably). Hailing from a Northampton council estate, his easy conversational manner, irreverent charm and leftfield punchlines have brought him early critical acclaim.
