Welcome to the UK's comedy laboratory! Mic Check is 2Northdown's fortnightly new material show. Stars such as Tom Rosenthal, Nish Kumar, Tom Allen, Felicity Ward and more have shared brand new material for the first time on the 2Northdown stage at this very night. The microphone will be smoking and the laughter will be contagious! Come and crack up with punchlines you've never heard before!

Doors are open from 6.30pm with happy hour until 7.30pm.

For this instalment, the LINE-UP INCLUDES...

Best Newcomer Nominee SARA BARRON:

“Filthy and fearless. Debuts don't get much bolder than this” (The Telegraph).
“When you're not squirming, you're laughing out loud” (LA Times).

Sara Barron was one of this year’s Nominees for Best Newcomer Edinburgh Fringe, with her debut hour ‘For Worse’. With her show transferring for a run at Soho Theatre in January 2019, Barron is steaming ahead!

Her work has featured most recently on The Guilty Feminist, BBC R4Xtra, and Dave Gorman’s “Modern Life is Goodish”.

As seen on Comedy Central. Abigoliah is a product of her New York stand up roots; frank, funny, and unapologetic. She first showed her face in the UK comedy scene when she became a finalist in the Funny Women Comedy Awards 2010 and has grown a Edinburgh Fringe following coming back yearly ever since. She moved to London in 2014 and has become a regular on the circuit. She was named “One to Watch” at Leicester Comedy festival 2017 and The List named her "Top 5 Up and Coming Female Comedians"
