James Acaster: Cold Lasagne I Hate Myself 1999
Looking around my bedroom now I’m counting four deodorants. Only one of them contains anything but I don’t know which one. I don’t know why I’m not throwing deodorants away once I’ve finished using them. They’re all roll on though so that makes me feel a bit like a grown up at least. Anyway, on top of this palaver, I’ve got to write another show and while this deodorant thing makes for a novel blurb it’s certainly not making it in. But it should give you an idea of where I was at when writing said show so you can probably expect a similar tone. I decided on the title when I was drunk.

Evelyn Mok: Bubble Butt
After an eventful year, Evelyn's feeling the paradigm shift and trying to figure out her place in this brave new world. In this much-anticipated second hour, the sharp-witted comedian explores her agency, the third-culture-kid-experience, weight loss and what this shift means for her as a woman of colour. Seen on Chris Ramsey's Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and Rhys Darby's Furious Andrew (Channel 4). Winner: Best Newcomer, The Pleasance Indies Awards. BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017. 'Uncensored, unapologetic and... wildly refreshing' **** (BroadwayBaby.com). 'Honest and revealing comedy... both poignant and funny' **** (ShortCom.co.uk).

Nathaniel Metcalfe: Chameleon, Comedian, Corinthian and Caricature
Mildly anticipated new show from the 'delightfully silly' (Time Out), Josh Widdicombe’s XFM Show regular, who has also been heard on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 4 Extra. Directed by James Acaster. 'Impressive' (Scotsman). 'The potential is excitingly evident' (Metro). 'There’s a touch of the Stewart Lee about his delivery... but it’s Lee on ecstasy. A friendly, jovial enthusiastic fellow' (Chortle.co.uk). 'Storytelling at its finest... His Sugar Puffs/Honey Monster comment is the stuff of dreams' **** (List). **** (ThreeWeeks). 'Comic Genius' (BroadwayBaby.com). 'Brilliant, unusual and very funny' (Josie Long).
