Solidarity with Stansted 15 - helping migrants is not a crime!

Fifteen anti-racist protestors are facing lengthy prison sentences for stopping a deportation flight forcibly ‘repatriate’ 60 vulnerable migrants to Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. The flights are part of the government’s racist and inhumane ‘hostile environment’ immigration policy. The protestors have been charged under controversial terror-related law. Amnesty International has called the ruling a ‘crushing blow for human rights in the UK’. We’re raising funds for their legal appeal. We’ll be joined by Stansted protestor and Walthamstow resident Melanie Strickland Read about it here https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/dec/16/migrants-deportation-stansted-actvists

Headlined by Stewart Lee with support from Christian Reilly, Will Duggan and Joe Wells with Susan Murray as host. There will also be speakers from the Stansted 15 and Labour.
