In short: From da club to Descartes, philosophy and pop culture combine in SEXISTENTIALISM a fun and thoughtful show about sexuality, shame and the self. “I guarantee anyone at the fringe will enjoy ** Mumble. Expect “good gags” Chortle, and a “gently incisive take” ** Bath Echo, from this two-time-finalist “one to watch” the “personable, likeable” Scotsman, Chelsea Birkby. Directed by Alex Farrow.

I told my Nan I was doing a show about Sexual Shame and she said “who’s Shane?”. This is a show about how we talk about sex, how we experience sex, what happens when we can't talk about it, and how we embrace who we are. The short answer is- being a thot on IG (I think it was Socrates who said "know thyselfie") , but the journey to get there involves a trip through objectfication, big nights out, if we are objects, Existentialism, why Jean Paul Sartre is bae, and how we can be free.
