Babes, we're doing it all again. And you'd best get your tickets early this time, because we all know what happened in March when the show sold out and you all turned up on the door and we had to turn some of you away and we weeped harder than that time Ellen got given that medal from Obama.

The Lol Word is a monthly night at The Albany, giving a platform to brilliant and bright queer comedians. You can expect to see award-winning, hilarious, super cute queer folks telling jokes that won't make you hate the world (ie. no sexism, racism, transphobia, classism et al).

PLUS every month all profit goes to an LGBTQ+ charity we admire. This month we're helping our friends at Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline, so dig deep!

Because the night is so damn popular, if you don't arrive at the venue by 7:35pm, we'll give your ticket away to those waiting on the door. If you're going to be later than that, please let us know by emailing [email protected]

**Your line-up is so damn fresh, it's still bubbling. Here's a sneak peek...**

You might know Jordan as BBC The Voice's first ever trans contest or you might know her because she's HOT PROPERTY and we are DELIGHTED to have this star in our midst.

Cerys is a part time comedian and full time gay who spends their days doing science and their nights undoing it again using jokes. You are going to positively rofl over this uber babe, trust us.

Two in a million, our founding queers Ruby & Rachel are back with more sketch to charm you all, you filthy animals.

Oh boy... Dre is a clown, poet, performer, producer, theatre maker and all-round talented gorgeous good egg who you're going to adore.

Winner of just about every prize going (So You Think You're Funny, BBC New Comedy Award, our hearts), Heidi is A BIG FUCKING DEAL and we are thrilled to have her joining us.

And steering our glorious gay ship...

Founding mama of The Lol Word, Jodie will guide you through the evening with her surreal stories and tender tales. You love her, we love her, what more do you people want?

We regret that this venue is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions about the night re. access, content, anxiety-safety etc, please drop us an email on [email protected]
