LEZ DO IT AGAIN!

Hey babes! It's hot hot hot out there so why not get yourself some super coooool queer comedians to drench yourself in? TASTY.

In case you need reminding: The Lol Word is a monthly night at The Albany, giving a platform to brilliant and bright queer comedians. You can expect to see award-winning, hilarious, super cute queer folks telling jokes that won't make you hate the world (ie. no sexism, racism, transphobia, classism et al). And every month we raise dosh for an important LGBTQ+ charity we care about, so it's bloody win/win.

HERE'S YOUR LINE UP, YOU LUCKY PUPS:

LULU POPPLEWELL
She's an absolute delight and she'll charm your socks off, you just wait. Lulu is a Soho Theatre Young Company member, and a bloody good pal.

ROXY BOURDILLON
You're definitely not ready for this absolutely gorgeous minx; Roxy is deliciously funny and we're thrilled to have her.

CHARLIE GEORGE
Charlie George is not a former professional Arsenal football player, she's a part-time yoga teacher, full-time mixed other and a TOTAL GEM.

AVERY EDISON
Avery is an actual goddamn celebrity and we're IN AWE of her. We can barely believe she's gracing us with her marvellous presence, so you gotta come join us for such a treat.

CHLOE PETTS
One of our founding babes, Chloe is a phenomenal comic and a top lad. Bring a spare pair o' undies, she's gonna have you rofling harrrrd.

JODIE MITCHELL
Another founding member of the Lol Word, Jodie is a total dream who'll consensually tickle your funny bones with her surreal schtick.

HELEN DUFF
Clown and comedian extraordinaire, Helen is an award-winning tour de force. We admire Helen a huge amount and you will fall in love with her, if you're not already a paid-up fan.

And your hosts for the evening...
SHELF
Founding queers of the Lol Word, Shelf are a double act from South London who will guide you through the evening with their capable and tender little mitts.

The venue has both gender neutral loos, and men's/women's loos. We regret that this venue is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions about the night re. access, content, anxiety-safety etc, please drop us an email on [email protected]
