Join us with 2 of the hottest comedians LUKE MCQUEEN and JACK BARRY as they preview their brand new Edinburgh shows for your eyes only. Sadly Lou Sanders had to cancel her performance at this event due to schedule clashes. We apologise for any issue this has caused but can promise you that you are still very much in store for a brilliant night of comedy...

Luke McQueen is a stand up comedian, writer, performer and actor. He is a critically acclaimed, maverick of the Edinburgh fringe. Luke made his name with anarchic youtube series' #GetSarahBack and #FindMyAudience, and for his audacious publicity stunts. He has a series for the BBC currently on iPlayer, The Luke McQueen Pilots made with Talkback. The series was nominated for a National Television Award and described as a 'delirious' best TV pick in The Guardian. Luke appeared in Tim Renkow's 'Jerk' in a guest lead role and shoots for CBBC's 'Class Dismissed' this summer. Luke has filmed a unique Ted-Talk-Style segment for the upcoming Sara Pascoe show for Dave 'Comedian's Giving Lectures.'

‘Nervous laughs at the unpredictability of a lunatic merge into heartier guffaws for his bold set pieces, raw potency and inspired ideas’ Chortle

‘McQueen knows the rules of comedy and he enjoys burning them’ Broadway Baby

‘A monstrously overgrown baby that has burst free of its play-pen...McQueen makes the room crackle with life’ The Guardian

“A comic you should definitely see immediately is Luke McQueen… Impeccable timing and a grandmaster of chaos” Edinburgh Evening News
“To spend an hour when it feels like genuinely anything can happen is a real treat” The List

"A true maverick" The Scotsman

"He really feels like an undiscovered treasure. His anarchic and confrontational style is far from mainstream, but Luke McQueen is rapidly beginning to be regarded as a minor deity of the alternative comedy scene" The Wee review

Jack Barry is an exciting name making waves in the comedy world and is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese – what a waste. As well as gracing screens and crisp packets nationwide as the face of McCoy’s Crisps for most of 2017-2018, Jack has appeared on Channel 4’s Catastrophe, ITV2’s @elevenish as part of sketch duo Twins and in James Acaster’s web series Sweet Home Lahnsteineringa. An excellent writer, he has written for Mock the Week (BBC2) and a sketch he wrote entitled Get Staffed went viral, becoming a Vimeo staff pick and appearing on the Canal+ TV show L’Oeil de Links in France. The sketch was shortlisted for Best Comedy Short at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and won Single Funniest Moment at the Portland Comedy Festival.

Jack has provided tour support for comedians including Russell Howard, James Acaster, Patrick Kielty and Joe Lycett. An Edinburgh Fringe regular, he first appeared at the Festival with critically-acclaimed student sketch group the Leeds Tealights, named Best Student Sketch Group in 2010. He performed his debut solo hour in 2015 and has since returned each year with critically-acclaimed sell-out shows. His 2017 show High Treason went on to a 3-night run at London’s Soho Theatre. He returned to the festival in 2018 with a sell-out run of his show Tango, which received exclusively 4* and 5* reviews.
